Anonymous asked: Hey, want to get a tattoo on my right shoulder, something related to deus ex or cyber-renaissance theme. What do you guys think would be cool and soooo hardcore?
criminade asked: I accept that everyone has a right to an opinion, yet I find it sad that many are using that right to take a gracious (and rare) opportunity to speak directly to a developer & bash something that you & your team have spent years on. Calling you 'stupid' or 'all about the money'. As a DX1 "sequel" I was disappointed with the lack of immersiveness, but outside...

Anonymous asked: A question for the lovely Mary DeMarle and the DX:HR Writing Staff: I just want to know more about the "Michael Zelazny" character from the Talion A.D. quest. For a character with such a small role in the game, it looked like a lot of effort was made creating the background for him. For example, his tendency to quote several passages from the Bible that reflects his current situation yet...
Anonymous asked: Some of us have noted similarities between Adam Jensen and Christian Bale playing Batman, especially voice-wise. So to settle our debate once and for all. Is Adam Jensen actually Batman?
Anonymous asked: Are you guys happy or pissed that EA are trying to take on DX:HR with the reboot of Syndicate?
sharkinthenorth asked: As much as I enjoyed the game (one of my favourites of the the year) I found it a bit annoying that only one bar of energy would charge itself back up. I often found myself out of energy bars and having to wait for that one dumb bar to fill... So my question is, what was the thought process behind only having one of the bars fill up? Was it to make it more challenging?
Anonymous asked: Do you think Eidos Montreal would ever team up with Bethesda Game Studios to make the most epic stylish looking open world RPG of Winning ever?
Anonymous asked: In terms of working with actors and writers, was it more expensive to work with them on CASIE if they acted with more subtleties? Or you give them a flat fee and say "thats what I paid you for". Also is there anything Ad Libbed? anything the actors or writers did for "free" that they did to make the game better above and beyond? Thanks!
jblite asked: How challenging/fun was it to develop audio assets for most of the game? Since many items and features are fictional or not fully developed in modern society currently. Also, with so much dialogue how did you fit the entire audio content into the game given the agonising space and resource restrictions that are always placed on the audio department.
airkin asked: I am enraged that I didn't see Deus Ex win anything at VGAs. Deus Ex or Eidos was not even present there. What's the deal? I am really mad, sad, etc. I love Deus Ex.
Anonymous asked: I have Asperger's syndrome, a form of autism. To me, the most interesting mechanical augmentation was CASIE. However, CASIE, not counting its pheremone emitter, actually made me worse at in-game interactions. I thought long and hard about why CASIE hindered me rather than help. I concluded that Adam's CASIE was calibrated for his non-autistic mind. For an autistic, CASIE, I imagined,...
Anonymous asked: Weird question, but: I know you guys follow some of the Deus Ex fandom around here. Do you guys actually look at some of the things we post? Sometimes I'm afraid we're going to make you lose all faith in your fans with our ridiculous antics, lmfao.
Anonymous asked: Hi, Please can you tell me why there are elements of Deus ex in the machinima trailer that are not in the game? For insatnce there are no scenes where Adam is recovering from his augmentatiion and dealing with the loss of Megan. There was also a rooftop fight with Barrett that I didnt see either and one two other things (off the top of my head). Will Eidos Montreal redo the original Deus Ex? Thank...

formerhuman asked: I think you did a great job of connecting the original Deus Ex together with Human Revolution, whilst creating a fully developed, original visual style that is not only striking to look at, but is effectively connected to the game mechanics and ensuring immersion. Are there any contemporary artists or architects in particular that inspired the art direction for the game?
mr-ru asked: Something that still bugs me about modern day games is how every mirror in the world is broken, blurred or replaced with something else. Are reflections that much of a factor in rendering times, that they have to be removed entirely?
thesuaveclown asked: Loved it so much, it felt like a proper sequel, continuing many great themes from the original which I've been replaying. Only question, whens the next one?
askpauldenton asked: Did you guys try to develop the end of the game a little more? I mean, the boss fight was fine, but the 'four button' set up for choosing the ending felt like a bit of a cop-out. Don't get me wrong, the game is excellent, but I was just curious if you guys considered going for the original Deus Ex game's approach to the ending, where Jensen would have to go around and acomplish...
Anonymous asked: I wont ask anything game is just awesome
Anonymous asked: Why was there no vehicle use in the game? Running from clustered street to clustered street in Detroit to find a side quest only to discover I needed to pass through a tiny backstreet or sewer that wasn't marked on my mini map was extremely frustrating. Surely Jensen owned a car or something?
Anonymous asked: Where did you guys find the inspiration for the Panchea? It's an immense building project in the game, and the official goals of the project is rooted in actual science but I'm curious as to what made you pick that specific "solution" to global warming and how you came to think of the ring/hole to the ocean floor design.
Anonymous asked: The civillian car's in the game have a very "Timecop" feel to them. Coincidence?
Anonymous asked: You're ''Eidos Montreal''... so as a fellow Montrealer, Pourquoi est-ce que le Stade Olympique (tour PICUS) est collé au Centre Ville dans le jeu, et que géographiquement il est collé à la station Frontenac ? Merci :)
torley asked: I have a plan to use the Icarus Main Theme as my alarm music, so I'll float out of bed gloriously, empowered to take on the world, staring out the window overlooking the deer in the meadow (instead of a gold-tinted highrise). While tension builds to a roaring crescendo as the epic melody kicks in @ 2:27, I predict the dramatic percussion will also rouse my wife from her dormant state. All...
